Up, up and away!

It's a bird. It's a plane. No, it's.....Super Kennedy!



Wait...it's Princess Kennedy.

My niece apparently has multiple personalities. Or maybe it's just an active imaginition. Whatever the case, I think she'll like her superhero/princess cape.

I have to give credit to 2 people. First, my friend Margaret made capes for her children and posted a wonderful blog about it. Second, my Mom let me in on the fact that Kennedy asked her to tie a towel around her neck "like a princess". Hence, the decision to make her a cape for Christmas.

I'm going to spare you the details on how it was made and just refer you to my friend Margaret.


I wish I had a model who would wear it for a picture, but Jack just doesn't like having this around his neck.
For those of you who are worried I may ruin the surprise by posting about the cape, don't bother. Just a little tip: Anyone who laughs when I mention anything about my blog automatically doesn't get the blog address. Since my sister laughed, she will not be seeing this post :)
