Just another weekend in the country

This weekend we did a lot of moo-ving...

...and a lot of eating...
...and a lot of exploring.

We drove to Lancaster to mainly check out the Rockvale Square Outlets. They have 3 outlets that I've been SO excited about and have already mentioned on the blog: Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids (PBK), and Restoration Hardware.
My assessment: The best store was PBK because they had more affordable things. I bought some clothing for $4.97 and under a piece. And, remember, there's no tax on clothing!
The Pottery Barn Outlet was huge, but the prices didn't seem to be dirt cheap. Still cheaper than the store, though.
Restoration Hardware was difficult to look through. I'm sure if I had an idea of what I wanted before I went there it wouldn't be so bad.
After the outlets we went driving to check out the scenery.

We made our way towards Amish country.

Ah, look at this boy. So refreshing to see him out in the fields with his father. Wearing that adorable hat. Everything about this seems so simple. It's like going through a time warp.

I'm not sure I've ever witnessed fields being plowed by horses. Only in the movies...

It was...

One of the funniest parts of our trip was realizing that Amish country includes the town of Intercourse, Pennsylvania.

This shirt was hanging outside a shop that Ben ventured in to. He came back out with a big smirk on his face telling me all about the "Intercourse" paraphernalia they sold. My favorite: A t-shirt donning, "Intercourse was everything I thought it would be".
Priceless.

The rest of the weekend was mainly spent around the house.
And in case you're wondering, Zebco seems to be enjoying himself.
The mild temperatures, I'm sure, are way more comfortable for a big black dog in the middle of the summer.
We spend a lot more time outdoors than we did in the HOT Alabama weather.

Unfortunately, we're still getting settled in. Poor Anna Scott is perfectly content to sit in her swing....that has yet to be hung.

More to come!
