The kids are doing great. They have actually been getting along well, which is a change. Jack can be the big brother bully sometimes, but Anna Scott is starting to hold her own. Jack has shown his sweet side a little more since being here. I hope that doesn't change!

One of Jack's favorite birthday presents has been his Stomp Rocket from my dear friend Margaret and her kids. He asks to go outside and play with it all of the time. It's something he's able to use all himself. It's nice to just sit back and watch :)
He loves running after the foam rocket once it's been launched. It's a great way for him to use up some of that energy.
Anna Scott prefers to retrieve it like a dog.
If there's one thing my kids like it's rocks. They have spent a lot of time putting rocks into this bathtub-looking thing:
They also like to put rocks into the birdbath by our back porch. A poor bird was trying to get a drink of water from it this morning, but the water has been drowned out by all of the rocks.

Annie had her first lesson on eating corn on the cob. She kept calling it a banana and tried eating it like one.
After some coaching she was able to get it right.

The night we grilled corn on the cob was the same night we had some fabulous steaks. Ben did a great job grocery shopping for and cooking our dinner. While he was at the store he found this:
